# Archive folder issues

I tried using the archive function to move my music collection in to one single folder instead of having multiple folders/sub folders. It was a large collection over 100000 tracks. However, only around were relocated to the new folder the rest seem to been deleted. I have a back up so not a massive problem. Any ideas as to why this would happen

I wouldn’t use the archive for that. You should use the Incoming page, and set a Target Folder. See [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ti2P5JPLzSw](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ti2P5JPLzSw)
You can mark your tracks as incoming by right click them → Edit → Recipes → Mark as incoming

Thanks for the info. I’ve done a full reset on Lexicon including a fresh install. I set my back drive as the “incoming” and my second drive as the recieving folder. Total number of tracks:189360 but only 5000 were moved to the recieving drive. I’m now doing the transfer a second time to what happens. Note all the tracks (189360) are in Lexicon
