Hi, I am experiencing a persistent crash when trying to open Lexicon 1.11.14 on an officially supported Intel MacBook Pro 16-inch 2019 (i9 processor) running macOS Tahoe 26.6.2.
I have confirmed that I downloaded the correct AMD64 Intel build. I have already cleared application caches, stripped the quarantine flags, and even tried forcing an ad-hoc codesign, but the app fails to launch.
When running the executable directly via the Terminal, I get the following error:
dyld: Library not loaded: @rpath/Electron Framework.framework/Electron Framework
Reason: tried: ... (slice is not valid mach-o file)
zsh: abort
Note: I did restore user data from a Time Machine backup originating from an Apple Silicon (M4 Max) Mac onto this Intel Mac, though printenv | grep DYLD returns no active overrides in the terminal environment. It seems the dynamic linker under Tahoe is misidentifying the Electron framework slice inside the AMD64 build.
Any assistance or a link to a previous build (like 1.11.13) to test would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
I have no heard any other reports from intel macs so i think this is probably an issue on your mac only. Did you delete Lexicon, re-download, move to Applications and then start it normally?
I already did that and the problem persists, I never had this issue before. can you provide the previous build (like 1.11.13) to test it? thanks in advance!
There was no major change there so that won’t make a difference. But can you check your crash reports? ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports and mac logs? see if anything lexicon related is in there. You can upload here if you prefer: http://upload.lexicondj.com
Just make sure to link this thread
hello, I uploaded the crash report to the suggested link, there were a few crashes. thanks for the support
What are you using to unzip the download? Maybe that breaks it, try using the Apple utility to decompress it.
The build is fine so that’s not it, something is breaking it on your machine
I use bandizip365 to unzip the zip file I can try the build-in apple zip utility and let you know the outcome
oh man that fix it the issue, thank you very much I guess Bandizip 365 breaks something when it extract the zip file! you can close this topic problem solve !
one more thing I can’t login and I can’t remember witch email I used for the paid subscription, I try to reset password on the following emails : - and what I get back is: no lexicon account on this email address
Neither of them exist. Check for a FastSpring email, that should be your address
thanks I fixed it was indeed other email
