Ok, so I found another “order” file under the subfolder that have the correct order, how can I direct Lexicon to look at the subfolder? I cannot move or copy that “order” file because it will not update, it will only update on that subfolder.
There is an order file in each folder there. Lexicon should be writing to each correct order file. You can try deleting that order file and sync from Lexicon again, does it create the correct order file again?
Ok I will let you know. But if I sync from Lexicon it would reorder my crates on VDJ or is the process different?
Or do I sync my VDJ library back to Lexicon?
Sync means to export from Lexicon to VDJ, so it will put the playlists and order there again as you see it in Lexicon
Oh, I want it the other way around. I spent and entire day re-organize the crates on VDJ, why is Lexicon not pulling it the way it is from VDJ?
Because what happens is, if I go to Lexicon and re-organize my crates that will work on VDJ when I sync to it, however if I go to DVJ and I add songs and switch some crates around and then I upload my library back to Lexicon all the crates will be in different order.
Okay sorry I thought you were talking about Lexicon to VDJ.
Are your order
files correct after you change your crates in VDJ? If so, then Lexicon is reading them wrong. If the order files are incorrect then it looks like a VDJ problem.
Okay then I will have to check why Lexicon is reading them wrong.
Can you zip and upload the MyLists folder and database.xml
file?
You can upload with this link: http://upload.lexicondj.com
files uploaded, I am trying to get this resolve since I use, VDJ, Serato and Rekordbox.
Thanks, I figured it out. There’s a fix in the next beta update, I’ll probably update it shortly after the weekend. Keep an eye on #beta-changelog on Discord
Cool, thank you very much for the support.
I hope you get a chance to updated the beta this week.
Thank you again.
sincerely
