What is the feature or ability you would like to have?
As a DJ, I would like the ability to add new tags for selection when I am applying tags to a track.
How will this feature help you and others?
Time would be saved rather than having to close out of the tag selection screen, move to the Tag screen, adding a tag, and navigating back to the specific playlist/track area you were at.

Yes, see above.
Understood, but the tag selection screen is optimized for quick adding of tracks. I don’t want to change and complicate it for tag creation since that is not something that is done super often. Once tags are set up, it’s usually done for a long time with maybe the occasional new tag.
I would love to revisit this. The problem is if you have a selection of tracks you want to tag, then realize you don’t have a tag, you have to go to the tags section, create it, then come back and reselect everything.
Another option would be to keep playlists/sections perpetual, meaning that if you go to another section, then come back, it still has the same things selected, the same search enabled, etc.
