What is the feature or ability you would like to have?
Allow dragging of files from explorer/other library + media player apps directly to a specific playlist in the tree.
Right now, it only allows you to drop files in the currently active playlist.
(Tracks dragged from a playlist in Lexicon can be dragged to specific playlists in the tree)
How will this feature help you and others?
Ease importing when you want to drop tracks etc to specific playlists.
Does a workaround currently exist?
No.
That’s not possible currently because when you drag folders into the playlist tree, it will turn those folders (and any tracks it finds in there) into a new playlist.
That behavior conflicts with dragging tracks directly in there to add them to a playlist that you hover over.
Ok, does the OS not tell you the difference between a file/folder when dragging?
However ,what you mentioned is a great feature I’ve missed existed 
It might be possible, but dragging is always quite limited. Could be a useful upgrade some day though, so definitely something I could look into at a later time
I think many of the “intuitive” UI patterns are nice to haves. Things that similar software following a similar model might have ben using for decades.
