Best way to bulk relocate items when file name has been updated?

I recently went on a huge audio tagging + file naming convention overhaul using kid3 and now I’m curious if there’s a way to bulk update broken tracks that are in the same respective folder however with slightly different file names. I’ve relinked a small portion manually but I don’t think I have it in me to go one by one anymore.

I have a screenshot of an example.

this first example here shows the original file path/file name (using underscores and dashes as separators)

this second example here shows the updated file names (using spaces and dashes)

I’m familiar with the utility options to find lost/broken tracks and have used it when applicable but in this case, is there a more advanced option available?

Something I have in mind is possibly importing/exporting a spreadsheet with original file paths in Column A and updated file paths in Column B and running some sort of command or action.

Yes, you can use the incoming page to let Lexicon move tracks, even if they don’t exist.

See Guide: Moving and renaming files automatically | Lexicon - DJ Library Management

Don’t set a target folder and just set a filename pattern.
You’ll need to use a filename pattern something like %artist% - %key% - %title%

Be sure to test that on a few tracks first

Next time don’t rename files outside Lexicon though, you always have to go through steps to fix them
