Is this to Engine desktop or a USB?
Good morning Christiaan,
I also having an issue syncing my engine data base to a sd card or ssd.
After updating both lexicon and engine. When engine is syncing to drive it keeps saying corrupt database. I have reformatted both types of media so that it can be a clean sync and same issues.
It goes so far as if it fails when writing the database to the drive.
Would this be an engine issue or a lexicon issue with the way its writing the database to engine?
@MartyTheDJ Can you try without the “Add album art” option? There are cases where that can lead to corruption, but I don’t know why yet
Good afternoon Christiaan,
How do I de select the album art? Is that in lexicon or engine?
Got a work around I think.
Synced to Serato - then imported Serato playlists to engine and then synced to ssd worked in prime go.
Okay! I meant this option on the Sync screen in Lexicon
I am also getting this error message when trying to sync to Engine DJ. Album Art is already deselected.
I’m still investigating this but have no found the reason yet. I assume you’re updated to Engine 4.1.0 ?
It was to Desktop, but I found the solution (restart the computer).
But now I also have the problem with the export to the SD - doesn’t work even when restarting the computer.
Also on 4.1.0.
Without album art.
That error will be fixed in the next update, fix is ready but not yet released.
A workaround this version is to delete the Engine database from the USB and then let Engine desktop create the USB database before syncing from Lexicon.
Yes - I am updated to Engine 4.1.0.
Does the work around you suggested work for the isAnalyzed issue?
I’m not sure, it might. There will be a Lexicon update today or tomorrow that should help with these issues so maybe best to wait for that.
I can confirm the update today solved my sync issues.
