Copying track metadata from 1 file to another

I am using Neural Mix Pro to export quantised versions of tracks with variable BPM’s. The issue I am struggling with is replacing the original tracks in my DJ collection with new version whilst retaining the tracks metadata.

Am I correct that Lexicon doesn’t have the ability to select 2 tracks, and then select all the tags from 1 (including cover art) and copy them to the other? Bonus if this could be done in bulk, but it would have to have someway of knowing which were the source files and which were the destinations (perhaps track length).

If not, is that a feature that could be added, and failing that, is there another approach with other software what cold do the same?

thanks

Miles

Lexicon can do that, no problem.
Make sure both versions of the files are in Lexicon and then use the Find Duplicates utility: Find Duplicates

Best to read the entire manual page but specifically for you, check out Tag & cue copying

thanks, been trying this. Is there a way to override what its going to archive? None of the preferred options seem suitable as the version I want to keep is the newest.
