Cue Point Generator not generating first beat on some files

When I use the cue point generator on SOME files it will not put a cue point on the first beat therefore the 2nd cue point will not generate. But it finds the last beat and therefore will put a cue point 32 beats before the end (custom cue). Again this only happens on a few files and not ALL files. Can you tell me why this happens and how to fix that. I am on a MAC laptop and running the latest version of BETA Lexicon.

Likely it thinks there is no intro but an immediate drop, happens often on techno where the track starts immediately with a beat. Do you have a screenshot of the waveforms of those tracks?

These are NOT the files I was talking about yesterday…These are files that I just did today so you can see it happens quite often…

Can you show the full waveform of one? Just load a track and take a screenshot

Can you send me a few of those tracks? You can upload with this link: http://upload.lexicondj.com

Ok Sent

Hey Christiaan I just wanted to follow up and see if you have had time to figure this out. I downloaded some more music today and out of 14 songs 10 of them did not find the first beat.

What is your generator template? Because with a default template, I’m getting this:

You don’t have drop 1 enabled which is found at the start for that track

So I will have 2 cue points at the start. 1 for the start and 1 for the drop at the start?

If you enable drop, it will only put the drop at the start for those tracks (see my screenshot), since no intro (start cue) was found but a drop was found there instead
