Cue points and loops not syncing to djay Pro (v1.11.9, macOS) from rekordbox

Bug description:
Cue points and loops set in Lexicon are not transferring to djay Pro when syncing. Loop data is sometimes downgraded or missing entirely, and on some tracks even regular hot cues do not appear at all in djay Pro after sync. Converting the same library to VirtualDJ works correctly, with cues and loops preserved, so the issue seems specific to the djay Pro sync target.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Import Rekordbox library into Lexicon (cues and loops visible and correct in Lexicon’s music player)
  2. Go to Sync > Sync to djay Pro
  3. Set sync type to “Completa” (Full)
  4. Confirm djay Pro database is detected
  5. Close djay Pro completely before syncing
  6. Click “Sync to Djay Pro”
  7. Reopen djay Pro and load the synced track

Expected result: cue points and loops appear in the djay Pro deck as they were set in Lexicon.

Actual result: most cues/loops are missing. Only a single default cue at 00:00 appears on some tracks. This happens both on tracks with loops (e.g. “Bam Bam Bambina” - Elettra Lamborghini) and tracks with only hot cues (e.g. “Loco Loco”).

What I’ve already checked/ruled out:

  • djay Pro Advanced preferences: “Salva il loop attivo quando imposti il cue point”, “Imposta il Start CUE all’avvio del loop”, “Quantizzare sempre i loop sul beat” are all enabled
  • “Activate Saved Loop 1” behavior confirmed via the above loop-related settings
  • djay Pro was fully closed before running the sync
  • Sync type was set to Full (“Completa”), and Lexicon confirmed the djay Pro database was found and that everything would be synced
  • Same library converts correctly to VirtualDJ with all cues/loops intact

I’m happy to share screenshots of the Lexicon cue editor before sync and the djay Pro deck after sync, plus my sync settings page, if useful.

Djay can be a bit strange sometimes, I’m not entirely sure what happens there. Seems something else is interfering.

Can you upload your djay database? Should be at /Users/chris/Music/djay/djay Media Library.djayMediaLibrary
You can upload it here.

And also your Lexicon database & logs? Can be done with one click in the Help menu at the top of the screen.

Just uploaded both files:

  • djay Media Library database (~/Music/djay/djay Media Library.djayMediaLibrary)
  • Lexicon database & logs (via Help menu export)

For reference:

  • Lexicon version: 1.11.9
  • djay Pro version: 5.6.6
  • macOS

The track from my earlier screenshot is “Bam Bam Bambina” by Elettra Lamborghini, in the playlist “20260712 Compleanno Pol” - it had 2 loop cues in Lexicon (slot 2 marked active), but only a default cue at 00:00 showed up in djay Pro after a full sync. Same issue happened on regular hot cues too (e.g. “Loco Loco”), not just loops.

Let me know if you need anything else - happy to test specific tracks or provide more screenshots.

Thanks for the details. Next update should handle it better but you might need to do delete the bad tracks from Djay first (or wipe the Djay database)

I’ve installed the last update, cancelled Music/djay folder and reprocessed the full rekordbox library but no change on the songs… I will wait next release
