Lexicon version: 1.8.5
Operating system: Mac 15.5
Bug description: After migrating my Rekordbox library to a new storage location (external SSD), importing to LXC and back, cue points and beatgrids are now slightly misaligned in Rekordbox. This happened after importing the updated library into Lexicon, making metadata and path corrections there (e.g. fixing artist/title tags, removing duplicates, updating file paths), and then syncing it back to Rekordbox. The Beatshift Fixer tool did not correct the misalignments. I tried Analyze → Round BPM → Quantize Cues → Quantize Beatgrid for single tracks, but the issue remains.
If I compare the same tracks exported to a USB stick earlier, they still have the correct cues and grids - so I know my original cues were fine. The issue seems to have been introduced after processing in Lexicon and syncing back.
Step by step to reproduce:
- In Rekordbox 7.1.2, relocate your entire library to a new storage location (e.g., external drive)
- In Lexicon, import the updated Rekordbox library
- Perform metadata cleanup (fix artist/title tags, fetch album art, delete duplicates)
- Manually fix broken paths so Lexicon correctly links all files to the new location
- Sync the collection back to Rekordbox
- Open Rekordbox: cues and beatgrids are now slightly off (despite having been correct before)
- Try using Beatshift Fixer for the entire library: no visible improvement
