Curious if anyone can report on Lexicon’s performance in MacOS 26 Tahoe? There is a known bug with Electron apps that can cause major performance issues (details here). Running the script at the link tells me that Lexicon has not been updated to the fixed version of Electron.
Is this is a known issue or possibly not affecting Lexicon at all?
I don’t know, haven’t tested it. Lexicon doesn’t use the latest Electron currently so we can still support Catalina
Not sure which versions support Catalina but it looks like there is a fix available in the last three major versions of Electron (v38.2.0, v37.6.0 and v36.9.2) based on this site and this PR
Did you notice this problem with Lexicon? Because we’re using an older Electron (v32) so I’m not sure the problem exists on that
Ah ok interesting, you might be right based on no other complaints in here. I haven’t upgraded from macOS 15 yet due to a few other apps also running older versions of Electron.
