Hey,
I have leveraged Lexicon to add metadata tags to my library. Unfortunately, I have a lot of duplicated tracks that are all MP4. I am looking for an automated way to deal with the duplicates as I would like to avoid deleting them individually.

The duplicate scanner will find them, no problem.
Thanks for the quick response. Please see attached screen shots. Is it possibly a bug in the duplicate detection because the duplicates are MP4 files?
If your MP4’s contain a video track then they are ignored by the scanner so maybe that’s it?
Yes, the 1500 tracks in my collection are MP4 music videos.
Those will be skipped by the duplicate finder then
Can support for MP4 Video file duplicate detection be something that is added? Detection based on meta data (ID3 Tags) and file hash would be very powerful!!!
Thanks!
Ky
The reason it’s not supported is because Lexicon is audio only, there is no way to view videos. If videos were included in the scan, they might get deleted as a result which is probably not what a user wants from a program that is audio only… So it’s a precaution.
