Few questions about the iTunes/Music import

I have a few questions about the iTunes/Music import:
Is it correct that smartlists are not imported into Music?
After the import I created some new smartlists in Music.

If I now export to Music again and re-import the xlm into Music without creating a new library, will my newly created smart lists be retained or will everything that was newly created in Music lists be deleted?

Yes, smartlists are not imported from iTunes currently.

If you import playlists the normal way then everything will be retained in iTunes. If you go through the steps where you delete the iTunes folder then that will delete all your playlists before recreating them. And since the XML from Lexicon does not have smartlists for iTunes, you would lose them yes.
