Hi Christiaan,
Quick question on managing external drive consistency across multiple machines.
I use a portable drive for my music library, and I often switch between two laptops. On one, the drive shows up as “J:” on the other, it’s assigned as “D:” (due to an existing partition using “J:”). I’d prefer not to manually change drive letters via Disk Management each time.
Is there a Lexicon-native way to make my library more portable in this scenario?
For example, does Lexicon support relative paths, volume IDs, or any feature that allows it to resolve the correct path even when the drive letter changes? Just trying to find the most elegant and reliable way to keep my library intact no matter which laptop I plug into.
Thanks again. I would love to hear your thoughts.
Best,
Joe
