Import sources- How to avoid pulling from Apple Music - but instead a specific folder

Hello,

I’m just getting started and it seems Lexicon is sourcing tracks from my Apple Music library. For my DJ needs, I don’t utilize Apple Music at all. Instead, I have a folder that holds all my DJ tracks under consideration. This is the folder that I want to use for Lexicon. How can I do this?

Hi Christiaan,

Thanks for your help. I think that might be the issue. I don’t have another app I use- the DJ software I have is called Myriad (for internet broadcast)

I was told I could use Lexicon to sort and organize music through importing through a folder.

Please advise if there is another way to do this.

The next part of my question relates to clearing out what has been imported. Everything from Apple Music is irrelevant, and I would like to start from scratch,

Okay, what I would do in your situation is start by deleting all tracks in Lexicon, so you can start fresh.

Then, since you don’t have a DJ app, you can drag your tracks into Lexicon to add them. If you have folders, you can drag them over the playlist panel and it will create playlists out of those.
