As i wrote i found a easy trick to solve the issue i had, so no worries…
What i want to tell you is that your Lexicon is great software with the smartest function, compared to other software i have been using till now: Traktor, Serato, Recordbox…Engine.
I am so grateful to Lexicon that litterally saved and restore my Engine Library… with the last versions of Engine, from december 21, i wasn t able to create playlist and export to usb…without any serious help from Denon support. Now, after cleaning my library with all Lexicon tools, everything it s woking again and i saved hundreds of our work on my playlist for years…
I’m seeing what looks like the same issue reported back in 2022. After a partial sync from Lexicon to Engine, my sub-playlists update fine, but none of the parent playlist folders show the full roll-up of tracks anymore. The tracks are still in the sub-playlists, but every parent folder loses its roll-up view.
A full sync fixes everything. The issue only happens after partial syncs.
The old workaround still works, but it’s extremely time-consuming because it requires rebuilding each parent folder, dragging everything in, and letting Engine rescan the whole section. Doing that across multiple folders isn’t realistic.
Since this matches the older reports, I wanted to surface it again to see if there’s a better fix or if anything has changed. Please let me know your thoughts.
It’s because of the playlist sync, it doesn’t include that the folder tracks because it would need to check what playlists already existed in Engine instead of only what was synced from Lexicon
