So I bought lexicon, worked on cleaning lost tracks, removed duplicates and what I was able to do.
When I exported back to engine os, I noticed that 8 or 9 playlists were gone.
Tried to restore database but it was the same.
Got a backup drive, synced back to engine and every playlist was there. removed the drive and playlists disappeared.
Now I can’t find a way to get the playlists…
Did you sync to an external drive maybe? With the Target Drive option? Since it disappears when you disconnect it
No, it happened even before I connected the drive.
all the tracks are in my computer, all the info is there.
I can’t get the programs to find the playlists
Are the playlists in Lexicon? Did you do a full sync to Engine?
Hi.
I did a full collection sync into lexicon first, cleared missing tracks, fixed track names and got some auto cues for a few playlists that I rarely use.
Then I exported everything back to engine and that is when I realised I had lost a few playlists
You might want to try the Lexicon beta version, there are some changes there that may help: Download | Lexicon - DJ Library Management
I tried to fix it now by just deleting lexicon but the problem persists, so maybe it is an engine os problem?
trying to create a ticket on their forum…
Did you try the option “Missing playlists” on the import page in Lexicon?
Yes and it found multiple deleted playlists but… not the ones I was looking for
