imported playlist from iTunes and used lexicon to fill in missing year for songs in playlist then exported the playlist from lexicon and imported it into iTunes but not a single file showed up with the filled in information for the years. I checked the actual files and same thing not any update of any kind. Lexicon is the only place it shows any actual update. Any reason why? I feel scammed
If you want to write to the file tags (ID3), then you can right click tracks in Lexicon → Use → Write Tags To File.
If you just want to update your tags in iTunes, then you have to do a full sync so you get the iTunes XML. Problem with iTunes is that just importing that is not enough to update the tags, for some reason it won’t do it unless you delete the iTunes library first. You have to follow the instructions that are shown when you sync carefully.
