I moved my files to a different drive and when i re sunned Virtual DJ Lexicon created and number of blank Playlists and some of files couldn’t be found. I relocated all the files and deleted the empty extra playlists. Will doing that i accidentally deleted a playlist of tracks. I went back to lexicon to resybc the playlists and it has worked and then I tried a full sync and that is not working either.
Can you clarify with screenshots?
first sorry about my horrible spelling before - super weird so the drop folder synced but now the overall \sync is not working I eluded screenshots for every thing the last scerenshots show a lexicon folder (house 1 month with 128 files) the virtual dj mirror folder only has 107 and i synced multiple times and ways such as smart list to playlist and smartest nether way updated the folder
Any idea what those 21 missing tracks have in common?
there are new just purchased
Should just go to VDJ, after running a sync of course.
You can look inside the playlist files and see what they contain. Find your VDJ folder first and look in the MyLists
folder.
See this link for the VDJ folder
I did that and the new files paths and names are not in the my lists folder
I also see the back up being created the sync is just not happening all other platforms Serato Engine and Rox working fine
Could be a similar issue that I saw yesterday with VDJ. I need a bit more info to check that.
Can you open VDJ, go into the settings and press the small button in the corner of the popup?
Where does VDJ take you? The full folder location
Secondly, can you upload your Lexicon database & logs? From the Help menu.
/Users/ronaldclarkeImac/Documents
i uploaded the logs last week the and folder above is where the settignbutton opens to
I don’t see the uploaded logs, can you try again?
just uploaded them again
Okay so Lexicon sees your VDJ folder at ~/Library/Containers/com.atomixproductions.virtualdj/Data/Library/Application Support/VirtualDJ/database.xml
But you said VDj took you to ~/Documents/VirtualDJ
right?
Lexicon uses the database.xml that was last modified, so normally what would work is to open VDJ and make any change like adding a new track. Then syncing to VDJ should use the right database file
