Happy holidays…A couple of weird things have been happening lately…
- I couldn’t log into my original user name to even make this post (LOL).
- Randomly, the entire program freezes and I have to force quit and restart to continue working (OSX).
- Random songs don’t give a beatgrid after I analyze.
- I think I mentioned in my last post, but I’ll mention it again…After analyzing, about half of the songs have the right tempo, but I have to reset beat 1 to be accurate.
These are all fairly recent occurences.
Maybe you are analyzing, with key? That takes a lot of memory and can freeze Lexicon sometimes.
If songs don’t get a grid it could be they have a very subtle beat, working on improving that.
If tempo isn’t accurate, then it’s probably just the analyzer not getting it right
Hello,
i have the same problem with no.3.
@miha985 Can you upload that song? I can check why that is. You can upload with this link: http://upload.lexicondj.com
@miha985 That song doesn’t contain any beats. Even if you set a beatgrid, it won’t be useful
What about in my instance? This is a random occurrence so I wouldn’t call it a ‘problem’. But it’s a song with a fairly pronounced beat. Any ideas?
It does work here and gets a beatgrid. Did you try analyzing it with the right click menu?
Maybe wait for the beta version to hit stable, will be a while but it has big improvements everywhere so perhaps that will fix it.
I did. It gave me a bpm of 70, but still didn’t write a beatgrid. shrug
Not sure what it is then, but you can try the beta just to see if that will help: Download | Lexicon - DJ Library Management
You can switch back to normal Lexicon after trying it, it won’t break anything.
