Rekordbox Memory Cue Glitch with Lexion (greater than 10 memory cues)

Hi Christiaan

Thanks again for adding the “don’t touch my grids” feature to Lexicon — it’s made the software my most essential DJ prep tool and completely transformed my library.

Rekordbox Memory Cue Glitch with Lexicon

This looks to be a Rekordbox bug that happens when exporting a large number of hotcues/memory cues from Lexicon. The issue comes from Rekordbox’s design: it allows 16 hotcue slots but only 10 memory cue slots.

If you duplicate hotcues into memory cues and have more than 10 (e.g. 11–16), Lexicon will correctly export them all. Rekordbox will accept them, but since it only supports 10 memory cues, it glitches: the last few hotcues (usually the last 3 cues on the track) visually disappear until you delete the memory cues back down to 10.

Here’s a short video showing the glitch:

Would it be possible for Lexicon to automatically cap memory cues at 10 when exporting (even if there are more hotcues)? That way the glitch never occurs.

At the moment I work around this by manually deleting extra memory cues — but a built-in fix would make things much smoother when processing thousands of tracks.

Thanks again for all the updates — Lexicon keeps getting better!

Thanks, I think Lexicon should limit the memory cues then. I will add that in the next update

Oh fantastic, thanks so much mate, really appreciate it!
