Rekordbox USB sync creating duplicates from Serato DJ changes synced to Rekordbox with Lexcion

I add or change info in Serato in the Grouping or Comments collums on tracks, I then sync to Lexicon, then from Lexicon to Rekordbox.

Once the sync to Rekordbox from Lexicon is done I plug in USB to update it by way of sync manager.
Only to then find there are duplicates
the duplicate of a track I know i changed info on the grouping or comments collunms has “-1” to the end. for example “darude - sandstorm-1.wav”

There is no way to scan duplicates or missing files ON USB using rekordbox so I use Mp3tag to find the tracks with “-1” on the USB.
I confirm they are a duplicate and delete them.

I then go back to the USB viewed on rekordbox to find the tracks I deleted are still there and only when i select them do they show as missing.

no way to scan the USB in rekordbox to remove those missing files, it all has to be done manually. the sync in rekordbox is not working properly.

None of this happens if I change the fields in rekordbox and don’t use lexicon at all.

Whats cookn

I dont know how this works. Have I put this in the wrong place? Cant seem to find Lexicon support.
cheers.

You’re in the right place

Using the RB Sync Manager is not recommended, it’s better to right click playlists and choose Export and then choose your USB. So in this case I would recommend deleting the USB and then export from the playlist again so you get a clean start there.

aha ok thank you , yea I will do this from now on.
