Scroll Wheel Support for Waveform Browsing

I mostly edit beatgrids/cuepoints on my laptop, where it is very nice to zoom and scroll the waveform using the touchpad. However, when using a mouse on a desktop computer, the only way to zoom is to click the +/- buttons and the only way to pan is click-and-drag. I’ve tried holding down every modifier key but the scroll wheel(s) just do nothing.

What is the feature or ability you would like to have?
Please add scroll wheel support for zooming on the waveform. Additionally (for mice that have them, i.e. Logitech MX Master 3) horizontal scroll wheel support for panning through the track.

How will this feature help you and others?
Would greatly increase my efficiency in editing tracks on a desktop.

Is this feature available in an existing product? If so, what product?
Lexicon trackpad support is great.

Does a workaround currently exist?
No, I mostly just avoid using Lexicon with a mouse…

Should definitely work, default scroll wheel zooms the waveform

Hmmm… So I tried with a wired mouse and it worked, but only if I scrolled VERY slowly (like 1 tick per second). I tried again with my normal mouse and got it to work but only if I change some options in the Logitech options app (smooth scrolling on, scroll speed very low or 0). Even then it is very sensitive and it’s easy to scroll too fast and get no response. I can make it so those settings only apply to Lexicon but then scrolling in playlists and such feels way too slow…

No idea why it’s doing that but maybe the zoom hotkey will make it bearable?
