Please fill in this bug report template:
Lexicon version : 1.5.4
Operating system (remove one) : Windows
Bug description :
Clicking ahead of track waveform analysis pauses playback.
Step by step to reproduce :
Start any song, press ahead of the progress of the waveform analysis. Track playback will stop.
Are you clicking where the waveform is not loaded yet? It’s not possible to play there since the audio is also not yet loaded, so it auto pauses

No way that the audio itself is not loaded yet right? Look at AIMP for e.g, you can seek before the waveform has finished loading.
I can test loading a low bitrate mp3 and a WAV and compare as a benchmark
Not sure what you mean?
The audio is loaded in chunks so it can start immediately. Waveform is generated per chunk as it loads. This makes total loading time a bit slower opposed to loading all th audio in one go, but has the huge benefit of being able to play near instantly.

Ok, if that’s the case, can you change so the track resumes playback when it has loaded that chunk?
Intended functionality is most likely not to pause the playback because you skipped too far ahead correct?
Thanks for looking into it
It is the intended behavior right now but I can look at improving that
