Serato does not read new lexicon beatgrid

hey,

I have some “transition” track that have different bpm, I used to set the beatgrid in Serato (I found it more simple) then I sync Serato to lexicon so I can backup my database and all was good until today…

Recently I opened my Serato and all of my transition track who worked well as now wrong beatgrid so I decided to take a good backup in lexicon and to sync lexicon to Serato but Serato don’t read the new beatgrid …

in lexicon all is good but not in Serato you can see with pics. at this point of the track bpm should 126 as in lexicon
thanks for your help

I don’t think anything changed there. Can you try a sync again and check on the file if the modified time changed?

IVe already synced 10 times nothing

Normally I’d say it’s because the Serato grids are a bit strange, since you can only place new BPM markers on exactly each beat. Lexicon doesn’t know where each Serato beat is so when it sends the BPM marker to Serato and it’s not exactly on a beat, Serato will ignore it.
So I think that would be the case here too, just weird that it did work in the past but now stopped working. I don’t have an explanation for that.

What happens if you delete the beatgrid from Serato and let Lexicon re-sync just to check if it updates properly?

Just did what you said and I can see that after re open Serato it did not change anything

the beatgrid is still wrong (the exact same way), it’s strange cause I delete the grid in Serato and in lexicon the grid is correct but after sync the wrong grid is back in Serato …
I didn’t know anything in mp3 tag but it seem for me that lexicon and Serato don’t talk the same language here

okay it is really strange I tried to edit the grid in Serato (ex : 100 to 128bpm), closed Serato re open its still here, fine. I opened Lexicon import this track, the grid in lexicon is good like Serato, I re sync back lexicon to Serato and now the grid is totally wrong (100 all the way and even not in the 1) …

Yeah I think this is the problem I described above. I can check for you and confirm it. Can you upload the track after correcting it in Serato? So it has 100 to 128 BPM in Serato, the way you want.

Just sent you
I don’t understand why I had no problem before

Okay I’m seeing the same thing here. I will look into it and see what I find

It was a bug introducted in a recent upgrade to the Serato exporter, it will be fixed in todays update :+1:
Thanks for reporting!

Thanks for your reactivity the problem is now fix the bpm is good (the grid is not here but the bpm is good so for me its perfect)
thank you and its would be really cool to have a French version language !
