[SERATO] Persistent "Beatshift" and Unsaved Changes

Hey everyone,

I’m experiencing a very frustrating and widespread issue in my Serato library t

The Problem: Beatgrid Shift & Unsaved Data

Widespread Beatgrid Shift: For a large portion of my library, the beatgrids are consistently off. Some tracks are shifted backward, while others are shifted forward.

Cue Point Offset: The cue points on these affected tracks are also offset by the exact same amount as the beatgrid shift.

Fixes Do Not Save: I frequently correct the beatgrids and reset the cue points, but upon closing and reopening Serato, the changes are lost and the track reverts to the shifted, incorrect state.

  • File Locks: The files are not locked in Serato (no lock icon).
  • File Permissions: The files and their containing folders are NOT locked and have confirmed Read/Write access on the operating system level.
  • Migration History: The library was never migrated; it has always been a native Serato library.

Any insight or help you can provide to resolve this corruption would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Same problem with the Beatgrid Lock Icon here:
If you load the library first time all Lock Icon are there, but when you load a Track into a Deck the Icon get lost and the Track isn’t locked.
Testet at 3.35 and 4.01 - both have the same problem

You can try the Beatshift Fixer to re-encode your files, that should solve the problem but you might need to readjust your grids one last time (whatever is in Lexicon will be kept). Or you can use the “Don’t touch my grids” option so Lexicon does import grids but never syncs them back to Serato so they should not change in there.

What about the Beatgrid Lock Icon problem?
I have no problems with Beatgrid shift

Don’t know yet, working on Serato 4.0 currently so I will check that too
