What is the feature or ability you would like to have?
Smart Fix/Recipe to Remove Track #s From the actual File Name. It would have to be done without overwriting a track that may already have the same new name.

How will this feature help you and others?
Cleaner file names, better alpha by artist/title sorting.

Does a workaround currently exist?
When I add new tracks I make sure the file name is the way I want it. My older tracks with numbers I leave as-is so I don’t break the database connection or loose hours of my life :slight_smile:

Currently there is no way to only change filenames. You can move & rename files through the Incoming page (see Guide: Moving and renaming files automatically | Lexicon - DJ Library Management) but it will move your files to the Target Folder.

I’m thinking of adding a utility to rename files later, so stay tuned. After the mobile app is done :slight_smile:
