I was having trouble with creating a spotify playlist after doing a track discovery search.
I went ahead and followed Christiaans lead and removed the access integration between spotify and lexicon. When attempting to reconnect I was hit with he same error notification
“Could not create spotify playlist”
I noticed in settings there isn’t an option to connect spotify, only beatport - is this correct?
Any thoughts or recommendations?
Thanks again for any help
It should show a popup to authorize Spotify after that. Can you try restarting Lexicon?
Yes , I went ahead and restarted lexicon.
I even tried to uninstall reinstall to see if that would reset the issue. Alas no avail.
I’ll have to look into it, not sure what is going on
Thank you, I appreciate you!
I looked into it but I don’t have a good solution for you right now. There needs be a way in Lexicon to reset the Spotify authentication (which normally happens automatically but does not in your case, not sure why). So the next update will have a button to force logout Spotify in the Lexicon settings. Hopefully that will resolve your problem.
I don’t have a time for the update yet, could be a few weeks…
That’s okay brother, I appreciate you looking into it. I am happy that we got a solution to try as I enjoy this tool’s flexibility.

Next update will have a new button in the settings, under Integrations. Update will be in a few days.
Not sure if this fixes your problem but I hope so!
Hey, my friend, I looked at the new log-out button, and yes, this worked!
The next hiccup was at the authorization step. When prompted to authorize and open lexicon the connection does not complete the process. Spotify integration opens lexicon but bugs out at that last step.
just to be sure I would hit authorize and confirm in lexicon but I get the error message saying it hasn’t been completed.
SO CLOSE!!!
Let me know if I can provide anything to help resolve this.
thanks again for all you do!
Okay how the authorize works is it calls a “deep link” on your computer, so in this case something like lexicon://spotify-authorize ...
which activates Lexicon and sends the authorization code there. So what I think is happening is that maybe your operating system is blocking that step and the code never arrives.
Lexicon re-install may work there but I’m not sure.
