Hi Folks,
I have encountered a problem in Engine DJ 4.2 on my Mac (macOS 15.1.1, M1 Max).
When I attempt to render the stems of my tracks, nothing happens. Only about 1% of my tracks are successfully rendered, while the remaining 99% do nothing.
After some investigation, I discovered the following:
- If I start Engine DJ from scratch and import tracks, they render perfectly.
- However, if I sync a playlist from Lexicon to Engine DJ, the tracks cannot be rendered.
This leads me to believe that the Engine DJ database is being modified by Lexicon in a way that causes issues during rendering.
If you need any logs or further details from me to investigate this issue, please let me know.
Best regards,
Martin
Engine stems are not yet supported, stay tuned

Just to let you know, that only the tracks which are imported directly in engine are rendered.
Thanks! every bit of info helps
Beta version now supports it, see #beta-changelog on Discord
I have renamed my Engine Library so that I could start a fresh import from the new Lexicon Beta. After syncing my playlist the stem rendering still did not work in engine os 4.2
HI Christiaan,
I see in the changelog that engine dj 4.2 and stems is now supported. Can you put together clear instructions on what we must do to use Lexicon and that Engine dj functionality. I saw some responses but would love to see a clear set of steps for mac users on how to get this going.
All you need to do is sync to your Engine desktop, any tracks synced should then be able to generate stems again.
