Hi, I mainly use Lexicon for Traktor pro 4 on laptops, but I also like to keep my main playlists on two iPads as a backup. I sync them to iTunes and then open the playlists with Traktor on the iPads.
Now I´m thinking of changing to Android, but I don´t want to do it if it won´t be as easy.
Are there any DJ apps for Android that can open any sort of playlists synced by Lexicon?
Or shall I just stick to ipads?
TIA
You can try the Lexicon mobile app, it’s not a DJ app but you can listen to your library and set cues and create playlists.
There’s no real support for DJ apps on phones right now.
No need for cues as this is only for a back up solution in case my mixer or laptop crashes, or for ceremonies or similar where no mixing is needed.
I´ll have to stick to what I´m already doing, playing traktor on iPad using iTunes library.
I´m just fed up with apple prices and were thinking about getting a Samsung tablet instead of a new ipad.
On Discord there were some folks who succesfully used the Lexicon mobile app to sync tracks to the phone, then were able to use those tracks in a DJ app, I think Djay Pro mobile.
Join the Discord server and then check the message here and the responses on that
