Traktor does not load collection after LCX export

Traktor starts, but loading the collection doesn’t work. The “Loading Collection” bar stays at about 10%. Only a hard quit closes

Traktor.
Any ideas ?

Traktor 4?
Did it work earlier?

I’d delete the NML file, let Traktor create an empty file and then full sync again.

I did the same thing – loaded a new, empty collection – OK.
Unfortunately, the same problem arose after importing LXC.
An older collection loaded without any problems.
Traktor 4

I tried restoring an older backup of LXC. It works perfectly.
However, I hadn’t imported the Serato library at the time.
Now, when I import a new Serato libary, the error occurs again.
Could the apotrophe issue be the cause here as well?

I’ve tried the following:
Export without album art = same error
Exported only a few playlists = same error
Renamed all apostrophe folders = same error
What works after that, however, is exporting to Engine.

Could it be due to the latest Mac Sequoia 15.4.1 update? (I think that’s unlikely, though)
The only strange thing is that it works with the old LCX backup. (That’s was without Serato Import Library)

I’ve no idea, seems Traktor is breaking on something. Can you upload the NML that breaks it? http://upload.lexicondj.com

Send you the file
I’ve made a fresh new Traktor installation
It can’t really be Traktor’s fault since the other collection works perfectly.

News:

  1. Serato import to LXC
  2. LCX export to Rekordbox
  3. Rekordbox import to LXC
  4. LXC export to Traktor = works perfectly!
So it seems to be an LXC issue with Serato importing and then directly to Traktor. Perhaps this information will help you?

Yep, thanks, good info!

Another thing I noticed when importing from Serato to LXC:
I have a “Newly added” smartcrate with the “Added later than” command. After importing, LXC displays an empty smartcrate.
When I edit it in LXC, the date is missing from the sort column.

Appears to be due to too many beatgrid markers. Did you analyze the tracks in RB with dynamic analysis? Some tracks have 100+ markers which is a problem for Traktor.

I’ll limit the amount that gets exported to Traktor.

Yes, that’s true. These tracks with many grid markers were also present in previous synchronizations and were accepted and played by Traktor without any problems.

If I synchronize with Traktor via the detour with RB as described above, it also works with the many grid markers.

Don’t know but Traktor is breaking on a valid NML file so I think it’s a Traktor issue, they didn’t expect so many markers.

I’ve now re-grided some 70s and 80s tracks that I previously gridded with RB using Serato Studio’s Warp Grids.
The problem is solved; the library is now readable in Traktor. Apparently, the flexible grids from RB are causing problems.
