Just testing Lexicon Traktor import before going with subscription to export to Rekordbox…
Any reason if a track is in a playlist multiple times, the full playlist does not import as is?
I have some duplicated for a reason, so need the playlist to come across as is.
Lexicon does not allow the same track multiple times in a playlist
oh ok, bit odd if it’s in there on purpose in the other software (Traktor etc). Can you create an option to allow them?
I don’t have plans to change that right now
oh ok, will see what I can change in my logic as I have a few duplicates on purpose.
Hi Christian,
Just touching base to see if there’s any way to stop duplicates being removed from playlists when importing to Lexicon. I hoped the imported playlist was identical to the Traktor one, but having removed duplicates (which are there on purpose) it’s not replicating the collection as expected.
There’s no way to prevent that. Lexicon only allows each track to be in a playlist once
ok. Are there any other restrictions that Lexicon does that stop the full replication of tracks in playlists?
I think that’s the only one for Traktor.
If you use Serato, there is one more limitation. Serato lets you add tracks to playlist folders, but that’s not possible in Lexicon.
thanks for the prompt responses. As both Traktor & Rekordbox allow duplicates, I’m curious why you blocked it in Lexicon.
It’s for technical and performance reasons
