Mappings order is different from Tags to field

I have a Tags category that I called “Mix”. I have ordered the tags a certain way so that they show up in a certain order. When I do a field mappings of the Mix tags to another field, they are in a different order. For example Tags “Intro, Epic, Short Edit, Clean” gets re-mapped “Intro, Short Edit, Clean, Epic”

Is this a field mapping to a DJ app, if so which one?

This is the mapping under the “Write Tags” menu.

Thanks. Can you upload your Lexicon database & logs? From the Help menu. I’ll try and reproduce your issue here.

Did you happen to find anything? Am I doing something wrong?

I haven’t had time yet, but I will try to do it this week.

This will be fixed in update 1.8.3, this week

Hello. It doesn’t appear to have changed. The custom map still is in a random order. Even if I move my custom tag order and then try to write a new tag, the order written doesn’t change. Could it be writing them based on the order the custom tag was created?

It should now write them based on the order they appear in the category, on the Custom Tags screen.

I tried by re-ordering my custom tags and then re-writing the tags. When I “Reload” the tags on the field that should’ve changed it is the same as before. They are not alphabetical.

Did you re-order them as alphabetical? Because it’s not sorted alphabetically when doing the field mapping

I have the tags in a certain order that I wanted that is not alphabetical. When I write the tags it is something different from that.

Done. I sent clips of the tags column, the field I am writing and my tags list.

Thanks, mistake on my part. I corrected the order for the All Custom Tags field mapping but not the individual categories. Will be fixed in the next update.

Thank you so much! I just wanted to say, so far, this software is a dream come true for me to reorganize my 20 year old library that has been mashed together over the years. All the tools that I can use for tagging, renaming and sorting are great! I am also excited for a Tidal integration!!
